TRANSCRIPT:
Hello, my name is Marcus Seeger, owner and video profit strategist at Video Experts.
Today we are going to look at one of the most commonly used video marketing techniques that still has a huge potential and opportunity for you to take advantage of, and that is, the humble About Us Videos.
So, when many of us are exploring another company, maybe to do business with them or to find out more about what they do, a natural thing that we will always do is click on the about us. And when we go to that page, there is usually three different things that we can see in front of us. The first one, unfortunately, is a huge block of text that just talks about the company. It’s very disappointing when we see this and we usually, just click away straight away, and it’s not what we where looking for.
The second thing that we might see, is a much more well crafted text based page with some photographs, maybe of the owner or key people in that organization. They talk not only about the company and it’s history, but also what they can do for us as a potential customer. This really helps.
The third things (which is what I really like to see) is actually an About Us video.
An About Us video can bring together all these elements, of the visual, the text, the story, the pictures, and really put together a really fantastic package for a potential client, visitor to your website to really get to know your business and make a decision form there.
So, the humble, About Us video! It has been around for while but not many people are using it. It is a proven formula for getting people to either, make an inquiry, convert to a sale, or generally just understand what your business does. In a much better way than you can possible imagine.
We have been doing these About Us videos for a few years now and they are really starting to gain some momentum. I would really suggest you check it out for your own web site. If you have any questions, feel free to let me know.
